Ride with care

Safety is part of every trip.

A few good habits make shared streets better for everyone. Take your time, stay aware, and ask for help when you need it.

Every ride

Keep these close.

  • Wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules every time.
  • Ride at a speed that lets you react to pedestrians, traffic, and road conditions.
  • Do not ride under the influence or carry another person on a single-rider vehicle.
  • Keep both hands available for control and keep phones away while moving.
  • Stop in a safe place and contact support if the vehicle feels unsafe or damaged.

Before you unlock

Look, listen, and check.

Do not take a vehicle that looks damaged or behaves unexpectedly.

Brakes

Squeeze both brakes. They should feel firm and respond smoothly.

Lights

Check the front and rear lights when riding after dark or in poor visibility.

Tyres

Look for visible damage and enough pressure for a stable ride.
